2. Parts of Speech Asteroids
*Reminder
Nouns- A person, place or thing
Pronouns- Take the place of a noun in a sentence
Verbs- Doing words, they can express a physical or mental action or a state of being
Adjectives- Describe a noun
Adverbs- Describe verbs, but can modify anything except a noun
Prepositions- Usually comes before a noun to show the nouns relationship to another word in the sentences. Think of it as a word that describes anywhere a mouse could go.
