Silly Compound Words- March 2014
While reading the story Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs by Judi Barrett 2nd Graders identified the many compound words found in the story. Students then entered those words into a Google Sheets spreadsheet and learned how to manipulate the data to create new, silly compound words. The pictures below demonstrate their representation of those words.
